
Conference Registration
The IWA Micropol & Ecohazard Conference 2026 Toronto will take place from May 31 to June 4, 2026.
More information on how to register for the conference will be posted here prior to the opening of Early Bird registration on February 1, 2026.
Registration includes:

Attendance at the conference venue for the duration of the conference (May 31-June 3)

A conference program
-
For Young Professionals, attendance at a workshop and a coffee break on May 31.

Attendance at the opening reception during the evening of May 31, including snacks and beverage
-
Lunch and coffee breaks during the conference on June 1, June 2 and June 3.
Registration does not include:

Registration Information
The fees for registration are shown below in American dollars (USD). Note that there will be additional charges for delegates who choose to attend the conference dinner and the technical tour.
Early-bird registration will open on February 1, 2026 and will close on March 15, 2026. The IWA membership list will be checked to determine whether registrants are IWA members.

* All fees are subject to an additional Sales Tax of 10% levied by the Government of Canada and by the Province of Ontario, plus a 2.5% service charge from the website provider.
1 Student registrants will be asked to show their student card or other identification when they pick up their registration package.
2 Note that accompanying delegates will have access to the opening reception, and will have the option of attending the technical tour and the conference dinner.
Cancellation and refund policy:
Requests for cancellations must be sent by e-mail to cmetcal123@gmail.com. The cancellation and refund policy is as follows:

Cancellation requests sent before April 1, 2026 – full refund

Cancellation requests sent between April 1& May 1, 2026 - refund minus a USD$50 processing fee for the cost of wire transfers.

Cancellation requests sent after May 1, 2026 – no refund, since payments will have already been made to the conference venues based on the numbers of registrants.
Registration will open on February 1, 2026.
Registration process includes:

Registration and payment for the conference and other events (i.e., ticket purchase).

A survey to record any dietary preferences, restrictions or food allergies for you and for an accompanying delegate.

VISA Requirements
For more information on VISA requirements for entering Canada to attend, please visit our Travel webpage.
Those requiring an official letter of invitation to register for the conference to support their applications for a Visa to enter Canada should send an email that clearly states:

their full name
-
their affiliated institution, organization or company
-
their position (e.g., Professor, Graduate Student, Postdoctoral Fellow, Researcher, Engineer, Manager)
-
their gender (for wording in the text)
