Where to Stay in Toronto
There are many hotels in downtown Toronto within walking distance of the Chestnut Conference Centre.
Please note that the first World Cup match in Toronto is scheduled for the week after the conference (June 12), so it is advisable to book a hotel room soon to avoid price increases.
Here are some options for booking a hotel:
Option 1: Booking at the Double Tree by Hilton
We have reserved a block of 75 rooms for double occupancy (see photo below) at the Double Tree by Hilton, located right across the street from the conference centre, for a set rate of $389 per night in Canadian dollars (approximately $290 USD, depending on the exchange rate) plus tax.
You can book a room at the special rate by using this booking link. Be sure to click the box showing “Special Rate” to make the reservation with the group code, CDT95P.
The booking link expires on March 15th, 2026. Free cancellation is permitted until April 15, 2026. After this date, a 100% cancellation fee will apply to the entire stay.
You can also make a reservation by calling 1-800-445-8667, or by calling the hotel directly at 1-416-977-5000. Please mention the group code CDT95P along with your intended dates of stay to secure the group rate.
Option 2: Booking at the Chestnut Residence
We have also reserved rooms in the residence located in the same building as the conference centre.
The building that houses the Chestnut Conference Centre was originally a hotel that was purchased by the University of Toronto and converted to a conference centre and student residence. During the summer, the residence rooms are available for booking by conference attendees. See the photos below of single and double rooms. The rates for the rooms are:

Single Room with 1 double-sized bed, private bathroom (maximum 2 people) $160.75 CAD, per night + 13% tax.

Double Room with 2 double-sized beds, private bathroom (maximum 2 people) $187.00 CAD, per night + 13% tax.
These rates include breakfast in the residence cafeteria!
Unfortunately, the link to book rooms at the residence will not be available until March 1. At that time, we will post the link here so that you can make a reservation.
Option 3: Book a hotel directly or through a travel fare aggregation company (e.g., Expedia, Kayak, etc.)
