WHO WE ARE

The Micropol & Ecohazard Conference 2026 is a premier international event sanctioned by the International Water Association under the auspices of the IWA Specialist Group on the Assessment and Control of Hazardous Substances in Water. These conferences are held every second year to bring together experts, researchers, and professionals to address critical issues related to micropollutants in drinking water, wastewater, and the aquatic environment. We provide a platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and innovative solutions to ensure water safety and environmental sustainability.  In 2026, the conference will be held in Toronto, Canada at the Chestnut Conference Centre of the University of Toronto.
